MITCHY BWOY

Mitchy Bwoy was working in Swifty’s studio when the Scrawl books were being put together. I hesitate to call him a Swifty protégé, if only because he was already a huge talent in his own right by then but clearly working on Straight no Chaser with Swift had had a pretty formative influence on his working methods and aesthetic style. Drawing from similar Jazz and Soul influences Mitch’s approach is slicker with a heavier emphasis on illustration.
